Or HaNer LA ("we", "us") is a small Judaica studio in Los Angeles. This policy explains what information we collect on orhanerla.com, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number and shipping address, the items you ordered, and any engraving text or gift note. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
• When you join our list: your email address, language and approximate country.
• When you share a photo or write a review: your photo, first name, city, review text, and (optionally) your email. For reviews we use your email only to confirm that you bought from us.
• When you contact us by WhatsApp or email: the messages you send.
• Technical information: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) receives your IP address with each visit. We use it to tell which country you are in (to show prices in dollars or shekels and the right shipping options) and to limit abuse of our forms.
• On your device: your cart, language and recently viewed pieces are saved in your own browser so they are there when you come back. They are not sent to us. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

• To make, ship and deliver your order, buy shipping labels, and send you order and tracking information.
• To answer your questions and provide customer service.
• If you joined our list: to email you about new pieces and order-by dates before holidays. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To show approved customer photos and reviews on our site with your first name and city — only after you agreed when submitting.
• To prevent fraud, calculate sales tax, and keep records required by law.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run the shop, and only what they need:

• Stripe — payments and sales tax.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and data storage.
• Our shipping label provider and the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx or a local carrier in Israel) — your name, address and phone, to deliver your package.
• A notification service we use to alert ourselves about new orders (it receives order summaries, not payment details).

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights (including California residents)

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email us — we may need to confirm your identity (for example, by asking for your order number).

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for your order and for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years). Email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Photos and reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them.

Security & children

We use trusted providers and limit access to your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect it. Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
